Welcome to the Awana Ministry at Oak Grove Church

At Oak Grove Church, we recognize that children are struggling to thrive during this time of pandemic.  Because we believe the spiritual and emotional health of children plays a large part in their physical health, and because it has been proven that children are rarely affected by Covid 19, we have decided to hold our AWANA Club as usual.

We cannot promise that clubbers will remain 6 feet apart from one another during Club.  However, we will have hand sanitizer available and masks are welcome, but not required.  We will keep track of attendance each night so families can be contacted in case any illnesses arise within the Club.

For those families who would like to participate in Awana, but are uncomfortable with sending their children to Club, we will offer Awana at home.  Students will still receive all Awana materials and can work through their handbooks at home with parents.  As they complete sections, they will have the option to say their verses virtually and patches/awards will be mailed or delivered to their homes as they make progress.  We understand that this does not provide a full Awana experience, but for Clubbers hoping to stay on track while social distancing, it provides a way to continue their progress.  Please indicate that choice on your registration form.
Our 2020-2021 Awana Club year began on September 13th
